Biography

Ocean glances across the cavern at her cousin, not in a creepy way, but to make sure she’s okay. Her cousin, Whirl, seems fine; she’s deep in conversation with a couple of Faes and seems happy, so Ocean goes back to her own conversation.

“You have a charge, right?” the Mirror dragon she’s speaking to asks. “What—or who—is it? Or is it a secret?”

“Oh, it’s just my cousin,” Ocean replies, trying to sound nonchalant as she thinks, She’d tease me forever if she found out. It’s best that she doesn’t know.

Whirl glances across the cavern at her cousin, just to check up on her. Her cousin, Ocean, seems fine; she’s chatting lightly with a Mirror and seems happy, so Whirl goes back to her own conversation.

“My cousin,” Whirl replies simply, trying to sound as if she isn’t thinking, I’d never hear the end of it if she found out. It’s best that she doesn’t know.
