It's funny, really, how much actually came before the Big Bang.

Well, it wasn't really a Big Bang. But it was a big deal. Hadal was born after eons of fighting, and some part of the void finally had the sense to create an entity that would actually make stuff exist beyond the realm of chaos. And while most of the entities had the chance to guide their narrative, Hadal did not get that choice.

The universe didn't literally explode into existence. It sort of... faded in as Hadal grew more powerful. And Hadal wasn't really ever obsessed with the desire to claim the throne, which had become the center of the universe when Hadal was born. Not that that was a problem -- only chaotic beings could actually find the center of the universe, so the throne was more or less still up for debate.

Really, what Hadal brought to the table was a passion for exploration, to push the limits of the known. So as Hadal grew more powerful, it became more invested in creating universes for beings to explore, to chase their imaginations and achieve the impossible. And thus, the multiverse was born.

So, why is Hadal the last of the New Guard? Well, as you will see, my friends, the existence of the universe now called upon the question of age. Maybe you can tell what came next...
