Glaucus

Emerged into a world of water, the hatchling seemed to be unable to move, worried their parents rushed over, checking them over, eventually they started to breath; coughing up a large chunk of egg shell. This was how their life was going to be from now on... Hard.

In the very first day of their life they were sold on the auction house. The dragon that took them in was huge and terrifying, she was so long she looked like she could wrap around the world twice. This scared the hatchling.

On the second day the other dragons in the clan seemed interested in them, but still kept their distance, only the scary ones tried to approach and even then the hatchling would just run away. They decided to spend their time curled up in the corned of their cave.

Aracaryn came to them later that day, he pinned them down as they squirmed, he was surpisingly gentle as he leaned down next to their ear "have you chosen a name?" He inquired. They were confused and afraid but managed to spit the word out "n-no" he gave an irritated sigh and sent them over to Spoof, the dragon who'd chosen them.

Even though they feared Spoof it was much less than the other dragons. They reluctantly sat down and faced the spiral "what do you think of Glaucus?" Spoof finally looked over. 'Glaucus' the word echoed in their head, reluctantly they nodded, this made Spoof smile "well..." she closed the book she'd been reading "feel free to roam and interact with whoever you please" she left the cave. Glaucus sat there a moment before smiling
