Biography

You are allowed to see Urian once, only once, and only through a small gap in a wall mostly made out of lead. You have no opportunity to ask why; Perhaps, if you have the right (or rather, wrong) sort of education, you already know. When you see their face, you likewise do not ask about the bones - for surely it is bone, what else could it be - nor do you ask why they angle their face away from you when speaking, until you feel the heat of their breath even through the narrow slit, rolling in waves from their bright maw.
"You're here to ask about the portal, aren't you?" Their voice is more cheerful than you anticipated. "No, not the Forbidden Portal - what a name, honestly, they might as well have put up a sign - though we certainly took inspiration from that. Well," You have the distinct feeling of being judged, evaluated by that impossibly deep golden eye, "Far be it from me to stop you if you wish to go through. But do be careful; After all, we live only once."
