When his home caught fire during an attack from the Dark Queen, Revered left with just the cindered remains of his life. Without anything left to his name, he found a life among the fireflies in the woods. However, sometimes when he awakens, the glow of the fireflies causes him to freeze; as they remind him of the glowing embers of his family home.

He has never been close with his relatives, so he is left alone.
