Lore: With a dusky blue body and cold arcane gaze she walked in silence, among the eerily quiet trees. The forest was silent because it knew of the predator that lurked in its wake. A lean jaguar like body with movements agile and silent like a cat, unforgiving jaws filled with teeth. Skydancers were for crude cold movements but Sky was an exception, she was mean and hungry and every twittering bird knew of her capabilities since many had fallen prey. So the forest hushed up and spoke not a word as she passed through, leaving a silence.
May-haps she lived in the murky dark waters of the old swamp? Or the broken dead remains of what once was a forest? Hath she enough evil to conquer and kill and perhaps she lived somewhere befitting of that title? No, in fact, Sky lived in a quiet comfy spot along the riverbed were the dew on the grass was sweet and the fish plentiful for the catch, where her gaze was not as cold and her cruelty not so much on display. She was a hunter so odd that lurked in the dark, snatching up prey at night like a wild fiend, a demon they say. She matched the demon’s description fairly well, with horns of dark and eyes that practically glowed, they sat her blood is blue or black like tar. But her heart? Where did that go? Maybe it was stolen long ago, or buried in a chest 6 feet under ground, maybe...it even froze, frozen solid from the years of icy glares and a way of ruling with a cold tongue.
But was Sky really all of these things? Was she truly accepted anywhere? Was her gone befitting of her rumored looks and personality? One can only tell so much by a cover, a title, and a mask. Maybe she belonged to a loving family of robins, or a thieving village of foxes. Maybe she was raised with a heart of gold on a silver spoon or maybe she was given no love at all. But the present, it remained ever so strong of the demon who lurked in the night and ate its prey whole. A demon of black and blue jaguar pattern and dusky wings of solid blue. A demon’s eyes that glowed a hushed powerful arcane essence that nestled itself into the nightmares of others.
The demon’s name was Sky, gifted to her from the beautiful skylark herself, a cherished loved name. But it did not fit a demon for she was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
