Brass Steampunk Goggles Highland Scavenger Gladiator's Warhorn

Lucine came upon their Den Tender with his head bowed, eyes closed. He was facing the sky outside the Citadel, not towards the Shrine of Chrome or towards the Immortan.

"What are you doing?" She asked, coming to sit next to the man she saw as the only father figure in her life.

"Praying." Vassili responded, sighing and opening his eyes to look at her with something akin to sadness in them. She placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"To who?" Lucine asked, still confused. This was the first time she had ever seen the man bow his head in prayer, even when she was a pup never had he done such a thing.

"Anyone that's listening" Lucine went quite at his words, a feeling of dread crawling up her spine. Why was there a need for prayer?

Put quote here

Lucine's questions were soon answered when the old man Clanker came to her in the Warboy's barracks. He had a sad look in his eyes too, the same as Vassili. Just what was with these full-lives lately? She followed in obedience as he lead her through the Citadel, soon they came to the stairs that lead up to where the Immortan lived. A spark of joy had ignited in her chest. Was she being raised? Was she to receive rank? Oblivious to the signs around her, she followed the Imperator up and up and up, not to where the Immortan gave his speeches and held his meetings, but to where he kept his most precious treasures. She walked through the large vault door first, in awe as she saw so much green, things from the old world, and dragons whom seemed to have never seen war. They looked at her as if an odd creature, keeping their distance, a shocked look coming over their faces slowly. None dared utter a word.

"Am i to protect them? Oh Clanker, you know i would do such a good good job!" Her tail wagged, believing this to be her chance to join the Immortan's ranks. She had believed so hard as a Pup, praying everyday to the Shrine of Chrome and in the name of the Immortan. A chuckle had her whirling around, finding not the old man Clanker there, but the Immortan himself. Gasping, she bowed, happiness swelling in her heart. She was here to help the Immortan protet his most precious treasures! It was the only expli-!

"Oh you silly beautiful creature. You are not expected to protect anything other than the love and children I shall provide you." Slowly Lucine raised her head, confusion on it.

"B-But Immortan, I am a Warboy, I am meant to fight, to die in your honor and join those witnessed in battle. I do not think i am meant for the role you seem to have me take." A small gasp was heard from the back, where the others coward as Badar's once calm face turned angry. He quickly grasped the mirror's face, caring not as she hissed as his claws squeezed hard. Her claws quickly came up, using them to scrap and scratch at the offending appendage.

"You are fit for the role I say your fit for! Do not speak back to me in such a disrespectful manner again. You should feel blessed for this honor being bestowed upon you!" He roared, holding her head for a few more moments before pushing her away and to the ground, his hand coming back bloodied. He looked down at the blood running down from the scratches, scoffing. She laid there om the ground, face twisted in anger and claws ready to scratch again.

"So much fight in something so small."
He turned his back, leaving Lucine to lay there, not caring for the hurt or confusion in her face.

"Close the vault, let her cool off for a few days." Badar ordered the Imperator, leaving a small trail of blood out the door.

"Yes Immortan."
Clanker said in a tight voice, seeming equally upset by this turn of events. Lucine's eyes grew large as he grabbed the vault door, slowly closing it.

"Old Man don't you dare!!!" She screeched, pushing herself up and bolting towards the door. The heavy door slammed in her face, leaving her to cry, claw, and beg for it to open. Tears slowly trickled down her face as she used her weight to try and push against the door, ignoring the sad face of those behind her as they witnessed her struggle.

"I'm a Warboy dammit. I'm a Warboy...."

Betrayed by those she trusted and enslaved fully by the God she worshiped, Lucine has never stopped fighting for her freedom from that day. She is the wife with the most escape attempts and with the nastiest attitude in the vault. No longer does she trust those whom she considered her Brother's in arms, instead finding solace in her new Sisters. Lucine protects the others with a fierce and snarky outer exterior, disliking all except a few. Badar is rather cruel to her, more so than the others, due to her not breaking to his will. Never will she break under the false god, and one day she hopes to tear his throat out with her very teeth and show them all that he is no god, but a monster.

Lucine has had many a children, but can not seem to gather the maternal instinct to raise them, let alone look at them. She does not wish ill will on her children, she has cried over those lost as well as those taken from her, but she can not let herself become attached. They are better off not knowing whom their Mother is in her opinion.
