Monday, January 4

I am Shard. I am a magnificent member of sunprisim's lair on on the Sundial Terrace. I have come to Bantymom's lair to begin my training as a combatant in the Coliseum. I'm told that Clytemestra is a tough teacher, but that in the end, I'll be well prepared to bring treasure and glory to my clan.

I have trained all night and have achieved level 18. The battles were furious but I learned quickly. However, they tell me the next 3-4 levels take much longer, but my stamina has improved and I am ready for them!

Tuesday, January 5

I have reached level 21. The battles are longer now and I was only able to complete 3 levels in the time it took me to complete the previous 18 levels. Tomorrow, I hope to be able to complete 2 levels before my energy is exhausted.

Wednesday, January 6

We worked so much harder today even than we did yesterday and so I have reached level 24. I am nearly there!

Thursday, January 7

I have done it! I have completed my training and have attained level 25! It was very hard work, but I am much stronger for it and know that I can now train others as I have been trained as I am now a master of the mire.
