Ancestral Incense
Patchouli got his start in life as an incense merchant. Nowadays his Lodge always smells of mouthwatering foods and fragrant perfumes, providing the perfect escape from the cold icefields. He still has many interesting trinkets from his days of bartering and trade, which he enjoys bestowing upon travelers as gifts.

BIOGRAPHY
Used to travel on the Arnvindr with Typhon and crew, taking on with them in his profession as a travelling incense merchant. The crew came to value his knack for making anyone and everyone feel welcomed aboard, and he wass often tasked with accompanying Typhon on trickier deals and negotiations. He is known to be able to calm down anyone, even Lucan... the more superstitious members of the crew claim he can even calm the winds of the storm, but that's just talk....

When Lucan's reign was brought to an end and Brightwinter began to welcome more travelers, Patchouli decided to stay a season in the city and see what he could make of it there. He ended up getting a job managing the Newhearth Lodge, where he put his hospitable nature to great use, and under his care the Lodge soon became a magnet for travelers. That winter, he met a pearlcatcher diplomat named Silvern, and the two kindled a romance that soon blossomed into a deep and lasting partnership. When spring came and the ship he had travelled with for so long returned, Patchouli introduced old friends to his new love and new life, having decided to stay in Brightwinter from then on.

When the owner of the Lodge decided to sell it and move to warmer climes, Patchouli and Silvern purchased it and made it their home, as well as a hub for ambassadors, travelers, and locals alike. Silvern keeps mostly to himself and his business, preferring to spend his few free hours in the company of his beloved, while Patchouli thrives on the flow of new faces and friends in and out of the Lodge, as well as the way he is able to strengthen the clan's social fabric, and can often be found bustling about, laughing, or serving a cup of tea before retiring in the evening to curl up with his mate by the fire.

NEWHEARTH LODGE - TRAVELERS WELCOME!
Though he is happily settled down now, Patchouli still has a love of travel from his younger years. These days he sates his wanderlust through the many travelers he hosts, and the tales they bring from every corner of Sornieth, living vicariously through their travels.

The soft green makes for a perfect color that compliments plenty of others well, which you show wonderfully with the darker green and soft pink apparel! Not to mention how his wasp primary brings out all sorts of subtle shades of white and green that add visual interest.
