the light of the cosmos

"I've been alive for far too long, far too many forms for the universe to become boring. The stars, the colours — they're all unique, all with their own soul.
I am here to tell you yours."
nebulae holds the power of a neutron star, carrying it with her across the cosmos. with no real name except the one stargazers give her, she is far from ordinary. she's mystical, a myth painted real in the wondrous colours of her scales.
occasionally, she will manifest during the night, shooting across the sky and filling the once dark blanket with shimmering light. that is her job, to remind those that look up in fear of the dark sky that they are not alone.
to call her, one must wish upon a shooting star, to seek guidance, and she will appear, falling from the sky as a whisper, a beauty and grace like no other as the very cosmos itself shimmers and flows around her.
with her creation, an equal was born. isengard, her now eternal lover, was once burning with chaos and rage, his very purpose to blink out the lights of the universe. nebulae fought years to settle his anger, the fury he was born with, and now they curl together in this balance of the cosmos. nebulae are the stars for isengard's dark sky.
nebulae, as a holder of stars, is able to create new life, new shining dragons of the cosmos. the offspring that share nebulae's form are those of nebulae's magic, chasers of the stars, painting the cosmos in colour and light. their pearls hold tiny, newborn stars that they must nurture on their own and find a place for in the ever growing cosmos.
