Meer didn't really know who the resistance was, or who they were even against until he poked his head up one day into their camp- He didn't mean to! But they did move into his cave, so.. he thinks scaring Krug was more than fair payment. Meer is a rather simple mirror, and despite being from the wind territories, is most at home in the water as opposed to being up in the sky. His wings are small and meant more for swimming in his opinion than flying- and thankfully his mirror stamina lets him speed across the land and keep up with his airborne friends.

Meer was instantly enthralled with the local Ridgeback, Krug, a draw that many would mistake for romantic- but his soul felt at peace with her around, in a way that he knew had nothing to do with love. They bonded quickly, his much more outgoing personality a good contrast to her much shier one, quick to speak up for her. She is always worried she's going to accidentally hurt him being so much bigger than him, but it's nothing he's concerned about.

You can find Meer guiding Krug through the depths of the underwater cave system under the resistance, with plethora of fish, coral reefs- you name it. And she shows him the skies, far off bodies of water that he'd never see otherwise. And at the end of the day, you can find him sprawled out on her, passed out while she helps Zacharias plan.
