Biography
WIP
Medusa once was plagued with the curse of her name sake. She was miserable and alone until her sisters found her. She kept her eyes covered with a wrap and at first just aggressively warned them away, but both of them persistently came to help her staying afar as requested but not leaving. Slowly earning the scared and broken dragon’s trust.
Eventually she confessed she didn’t want them around as they sounded nice but she could turn them to stone if the wraps ever fell. One sister perked up, telling her they knew and had a solution and a statue.
“Statue?” Was the question that left her lost. Neither sister explained in full what they meant, speaking excitedly over each other until Medusa hushed them. She thought a long hard moment and agreed to whatever the much older dragons had planned. With little warning she was asleep...
She woke and found herself without her wrappings and almost panicked but her vision was different, the glow from the light they used to emit was gone from her snout and she looked to a mirror to see her eyes normal.
Two other dragons stepped up, thier voices familiar as they cheered her for doing so well.
“What did you do?” She asked, a mix of worry but mostly confusion.
Sthenno spoke alone, “It’s not what we did. It’s what you let us do, we moved your sight to someone more willing to have it!”
She blinked as she looked to them both. Willing? Then, it was no longer forced on her, and given to someone else? “They aren’t evil are they?”
“Warden no! We’d never assist someone with a corrupted heart!” Eurayle chirped, “Only those of pure intentions and a good heart can accept our magic and safely live in our labyrinth.”
That hit hard... she’d only ever lived in the labyrinth since she hatched, “Then... who are you? Why have I always been here?”
“We are your sisters,” Sthenno answered, “All of us were left to hatch in this maze, we knew of you and searched for you. We found you lost but now you are found, you are home.”
Medusa hugged them. Her family.
