-half drone
-runs on a drone’s code, but has a dragon’s personality encoded in his mind
-this gives him frequent headaches, as the complexity of full sentience is not meant to be processed by a drone’s brain
-his level of awareness and skydancer genetics allow him to access and alter the hive’s code
-is connected to the hivemind, but his… strange… code was mostly ignored: the Consciousness was more concerned with how a dragon/drone hybrid would behave, and underestimated the threat his faulty code presented
-As he grew older, the Consciousness began to take more interest in him, forcing him to encode a mask personality (a slightly altered version of a standard drone’s) and run his own mind in the background
-successfully hid like this for several years, until he was caught trying to download the entire databank of assimilated dragon minds
-having escaped his native hive, is now on a mission to find suitable bodies for every single one of his downloaded minds
