About
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Aodhain was born on a small island off the coast of Dragon Claw Island. His people were constantly in conflict with some of the more zealous members of the cults on Dragon Claw Island, as they refused to join in worship of the dragons. As a result, they have a strong history of powerful warriors, a tradition which Aodhain was proud to be part of. During one of these skirmishes, Aodhain and several others were captured and taken to the main island as prisoners. They were used in experiments regarding dragon blood and the magic contained within it. Changes slowly began to happen to them; Aodhain's hair began to lose its color, his eyes changed color, his teeth grew sharper, and scales began to spread over his back. One by one, his friends and companions fell to madness, illness, and other maladies brought on by the blood experiments, until only he was left. Finally, his captors were foolish enough to believe him weakened by their experiments and failed to lock him up properly. He broke free and killed them, returning home after nearly a year in captivity. Upon returning home, he was cheered and given time to relax and recover... and then immediately exiled. Dragon blood calls to dragon blood, so having him around was too great a risk, which he understood. His people mourned as he left for the mainland, looking for a way to cleanse himself of the dragon blood. He still hopes to return one day. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

Aodhain speaks a number of languages; Common is not among them. His first language is Elvish, but he also speaks Giant and (now) Draconic.  He hates touching the scales on his body, the feeling unsettles him. He also dislikes them being touched by others, and is generally sensitive about being touched. He can play the crwth, a stringed instrument like a lute. He has been trying to find one since arriving on the mainland, though its scarcity and his inability to communicate efficiently has made that difficult. The tattoo over his eye in in honor of his mother, who lost en eye defending him when he was young.
