Personality

Charming, alluring, smug- Lucifer is sin incarnate. He is magnetizing, able to bring out the desires in anyone who gazes into his eyes long enough.
In classic devil fashion, he loves making deals- not necessarily for souls in return, but sometimes for favors, or IOUs.
Surprisingly funny, Lucifer excels in well timed one liners and witty banter.
As ruler of hell, he believes it his duty to punish those who deserve it. He is not unfair, but he is merciless when needed. He clearly enjoys doling out the punishment, anyway- a sadist, in that sense.
A professional at handling adults, Lucifer is absolutely flabbergasted by children. He has absolutely no idea how to handle them and finds them intimidating for this reason. Ironic, since he isn’t intimidated by anyone else in the lair.

History
"For being named after me of all people, this place is terribly dreary." Lucifer mused as he stood at the entrance of the aforementioned 'Devil's Pit'. All things considered, it was fitting- this place had been literal hell to track down once he'd gotten his bearings in this bizarre new world. And to think, he was a dragon of all things! Well, not too far off from what he actually was, honestly. Fire-breathing, legendary, loathed by mortals...

Ah, but he was getting ahead of himself. Honestly, long as it wasn't hell, he was content.

The sun was setting, which was the typical time 'challengers' usually arrived for what was apparently some fight-to-the-death sort of initiation.

"I might as well get this show on the road."

He'd admit, it was rather hilarious to watch his challenger immediately fall to his knees in reverence once he figured out who exactly he was. He'd actually been surprised to find that this world had demons, too. Apparently this was a strange occurrence, as he was immediately approached by what he could only assume was the infamous 'Speaker'.

Inside her, he could sense something... something like Mazikeen, like his demons down in hell. But it was different. Not a possession- but more symbiotic, parasitic even. It sensed him too apparently, as the skydancer's cool charade changed in a heartbeat and she recoiled like she'd been struck. Her red eyes flashed as they met his, backing up several steps and wings all unfurled.

Even as unnatural, as artificial and wrong as that thing inside her was, it recognized him of all things- and its vessel did too.

She didn't say anything, but her reaction was enough that the hundreds of onlookers fell into a hushed silence. Her head bowed ever so slightly, and she exhaled, seeming to gather her wits. The Speaker nodded, sweeping her wing towards the crowd in a grand gesture.

"Everyone, let's give a warm Devil's Pit welcome to- well, the devil himself..." she trailed off, and for a moment he was concerned at the following silence. Much to his surprise, it changed in a flash, and cheers, howls, and roars of all kinds filled the pit.

It wasn't Hell, and it wasn't Lux... but Lux was something he embodied- could rebuild. And it seems these poor bloody things were in dire need of his assistance.

"Let's make this place truly fitting of its name." He murmured, smirking as he began his plans.

About
Since coming to Sornieth, Lucifer rebuilt Lux within the Devil's Pit. He put to work the demons already residing there and carved out a completely new area, far from the stench of the plaguelands. He'd made many deals and many contacts while traveling the strange dragon-filled world, and soon enough, the nightclub was completely rebuilt beneath the earth.

He keeps order surprisingly well. There is very little fighting due to there being so much else to occupy everyone, and what does break out he can usually stop. Most of that stuff, however, he leaves to Mazikeen, who also has the crucial job of running the bar.

He's usually having too much fun indulging with the club-goers, performing through both singing, dancing, and so on. He’s also excellent on the piano.

When he does have to get involved, he puts to use his 'devil-face' which tends to scare the faint-hearted into complying. However, in a place like the Pit, that usually doesn't work. Instead, he makes use of his immortality, his superior strength and endurance, and his sheer notoriety as being the literal devil.

But beyond that, Lucifer prides himself in being a lover, not a fighter. His endless partners can attest to that.

Trivia

The owner of Lux, the brand new nightclub situated in the Pit. Several of the inhabitants take part in the activities there, whether it be dancing, drinking, drugs, or whatever- including Lucifer himself.
Lucifer's most significant power is his ability to draw out the true desires of anyone he wishes, simply by making eye contact and asking. Only one has been able to resist his gaze.
Since he deals in a lot of shady, black market business, Lucifer has a 'back entrance' to Lux that few know of but his suppliers. This would be an excellent way to sneak inside to enjoy the place without paying- if one could get past his guard dog, Hellfire. A feat which is nearly impossible thanks to his multigaze.
