solaris was born during a storm so strong it uprooted the ancient trees and battered the viridian forest so badly her clan feared for their lives. it is thought that the power of this storm imbued itself inside solaris, gifting her her primal eyes, and the abilities to manipulate the forest around her. the first of her kind in darkwood, this hatchling was a source of deep unrest at first- until scarab the sorceress was tormented by visions of the gladekeeper uttering solaris’ name, pronouncing her the true leader of darkwood. panacea willingly stepped down, offering the throne to the young snapper, who knew this was her true destiny.

as solaris grew, so did her power- able to summon snaking vines and cause tremors that shake the forest. it seems the energy of nature flows in her veins, flowers erupting in vibrant bursts of colour wherever she walks. solaris dreams of uniting her clan, seeking more than panacea had previously- she wants to use her power for true good, and won’t stop until she succeeds.

solaris loves the town of darkwood, and is frequently lost in thoughts of ways in which to perfect it. she tolerates the backwood dragons, knowing she must uphold the promise panacea made to kassadin- though she is wary enough to keep a close eye on them. she consults often with scarab, finding the young sorceress a good source of information, and is keen to further her own magic in order to protect the town better.
