Nurvok

Nurvok a powerful yet kind skydancer had traveled all around Soritneth but today, he was just going to the marketplace to pick up a few things for his clan as the merchants had been rather preoccupied as of late. He took notice of the crowd that had gathered but seemed to pay not much attention at his side his fierce and protective guard the Spiral Pandora is seen looking around protectively as the Bogsneak at the center of the crowd had suddenly spoken to Nurvok though Pandora bristles angrily. Nurvok holds a hand in front of her to prevent her for taking it any farther than growls. Nurvok hears another speak this one much kinder the sky dancer just smiles at her it was a gentle smile seeming unaffected by the Bogsneaks words as he says gently to her. “It is quiet alright my dear Cupcake was it? It is quiet clear to me that literacy was not this ones strong suite if that is best insult he can come up with…. As for you.” he turns his attention over to the bog sneak “I can see by your garb and tattered wings you are a warrior and battle seems to have sealed your heart and I do hope that perhaps your friend here can help bring kindess back to it.”

Hellbender opens his mouth but nothing comes out of it for a split second; he is surprised by Nurvok's kind words and apparent insight into his past. Not willing to let him know that there might be some truth in what he said, Hellbender hisses and says, "And I can see by your garb and wings that you must be some kind of weak-willed underling to the Stormcatcher. Why don't you mind your own business and get back to work?"

Cupcake stares in fascination at the lightning crackling off of the Skydancer's plumage, "Amazing! How does this work? Is it a machine? Is it magic? Is it really there or is it your markings that have come alive?" She circles all around Nurvok to see the sparks zipping around him. She begins to extend a hand to see for herself, but as she nears his wing she feels the buzz of electricity and her feathers stand on end. Pulling her hand quickly away, her eyes widen and she says, "Wow, you've got some powerful magic in you!"

Nurvok noticed for a fraction of a second he seems to have caught Hellbinder off guard and here his respons instead of it upsetting him he speaks his tone is still gentle and kind as he say. “I serve no deity but my power does stem from a homeland that I have never seen, may you find kindness in your heart again Bogsneak and may you continue to serve your clan well.” At his side Pandora was still growling slightly making it clear she still hated anyone threatening her charge but didn’t try going past Nurvok. Ignoring this he turns his attentions to Cupcake noticing how she was watching his magic that swirled around him at all time hearing her questions he is heard replying “It is indeed magic my dear and helps to ensure the magic within me is always in a balance” If it fascinates you so. Here.” he reaches out to her his magic is seen forming and as it vanished a Meal Moth is seen forming in his hands unlike many of its brethren though its marking where much brighter and seemed to glow with Nurvok’s own magic. “A token of our meeting my dear may it keep you company and remind you, to not give up even on your fiery temper friend.” He glances at his own fiery friend Pandora before adding “Sometimes they just need a little nudge in the right direction and are the most steadfast of companions they just have issues showing it.” He then gives a slight bow to both before he turns to go Pandora fallowing behind him.

Latundan gave the Skydancer a long look as he decided whether or not he liked what he saw. He finally huffed and turned his head away in disgust.

"Skulls," he grumbled. "What is it with you Skydancers and your skulls? Are you trying to be birds, or what? Or perhaps you just think you're some edgy Shadow dragon?"

Parryi gave a heaving sigh as he listened to his mate. He simply shrugged at the Skydancer before passing his own judgements.

"The colors are matched very well," he began with a smile. "And that scarf is quite stylish! I like it very much! The feathers on your tail are also a nice touch; it all fits together so perfectly! You have a lot of balance!"

The skydancer Nurvok and his fiery guard Pandora had been traveling but as they come face to face with the small emperor though they paused not having seen one before. Sensing the gentle nature in the emperor and hearing what his parental figure says Nurvok just turns his attention to the hatchling a gentle smile is seen forming as he bends down a little bit and is heard saying "Hello dear one." Pandora normally over protective and her usual fiery personality seems to for once simmered and just eyes the hatchling through her helmet.

It takes hardly any time for little Bai to run towards Nurvok, greeting the strange Skydancer with a series of excited chirps and several flicks of his tails. Circling him several times, Bai eventually stops near the dragon's side - trying to reach up as far as he can to paw at the little glowing bulbs he carries.

Even as Pandora shapes her demeanor into a calm one, Bai tries to ignore her presence - yet when two heads succeed, one keeps trying to sneak a quick peek at the Spiral anyways.

"Oh, erm..." Fable flies over to the two visitors, though he lets Bai freely continue to play. First, he faces his fellow Spiral - though, 'face' is a difficult word to use when one has theirs covered with a giant mask. "I think he might still be a little shy. Give him time, it'll come eventually - first impressions are a tricky thing for hatchlings to break through."

He then smiles, watching Bai still mesmerized by the Skydancer's strange tools. "It seems he likes you, though. Then again, he likes about anything that glows and is somewhat within reach - or just out of it. I'm surprised, though; I'd expected you to run away or something."
