Windsong

Windsong is a fairly level-headed dragon, with strong self-discipline and occasional daydreaming tendencies. He enjoys flying over the ocean, and while he will fly on sunny days, he often seeks out thunderstorms and hurricanes, to some of his clanmates’ bemusement. Although he hasn’t seen many other Skydancers since he joined his current clan, he’s noticed that he departs for what seems to be normal Skydancer behavior. While he has been sent to gather intelligence on occasion, he does not shy away from combat (in fact, he asked to be included on regular Coliseum runs) and can be fierce when he feels it is needed. He will mediate conversations and work to de-escalate confrontations if he feels like it is necessary, but he often does not feel driven to involve himself unless there is no one else around who can intervene and views such things more as “work” than part of his nature. He is fairly reserved, even around his clanmates, and he spends a lot of time on his own. It took him a while to find a familiar, and the one he did find is a Blue Dragon Reef Snail of few words and fierce tendencies. They often pass their days content to sit together in silence or work on some (often solitary) activity in the same area. Windsong calls his familiar by a few affectionate nicknames—“Burble” and “Bubbles” are common—but none of those have been confirmed to be the familiar’s actual name, if he has one. Windsong tries to discourage his familiar’s cannibalistic tendencies, often offering him other foods if he finds his familiar going after other snails.

Windsong recently acquired a set of daggers which he keeps on his rear legs much of the time. Despite being a more magic-oriented fighter, he has been learning to use the daggers and hopes to supplement his main fighting style with them. He’s also picked up some armor and a matching healer’s hat—even if he secretly finds combat more enjoyable than healing, he is still the clan’s main healer, and he takes his duty seriously. The cobwebs are a confusing leftover from Night of the Nocturne. Even Windsong isn’t quite sure how to get rid of them.
