Sunflash leads the Guard to protect the camp. The dragons train daily to defend the camp from any threat, such as wild animals or even groups of dragons who get too close to the clan. Once a week, Sunflash works with Splendor to arrange mock battles to entertain the clan during dinner and show them how strong the Guard is. When they aren't training, Sunflash enjoys spending most of her time with Chaz. He also enjoys talking to Sean, Splendor, Simone, and Sterling. Sunflash is loyal and would never send the Guard out to challenge a threat without him. She feels uneasy around Wildstep.
• b a c k s t o r y •

Sunflash grew up in a busy town up on the cliffs of the Sunbeam Ruins. He loved his home, but always knew he would have to leave once he was older. Like any other guardian, Sunflash felt the need to go find her charge to protect. She attended fighting lessons most days, so she would be strong enough for her future charge. Other days she would go to history lessons or explore the nearby territory with her friends. Once he was old enough, Sunflash said goodbye to his friends and family and set out on his quest to find his charge. His journey didn't last long, only taking him to the nearby deserts of the Shifting Expanse. He walked into a small camp of dragons setting up a new home, and immediately felt this was where he needed to be. She asked to speak to the leader, and a mirror named Mokkan introduced himself. Sunflash asked Mokkan if she could stay and form a Guard to protect the camp from any danger, and he agreed without hesitation.
