Awesome Art by TazerPones
One Summer afternoon, Moose and Quipp were sent to pick up resources from the AH. Quipp perched on one of Moose’s antlers and watched the clouds as the gaoler made her way there. They bought various items such as food, familiars and even a few hats. Moose still couldn’t grasp why Quipp wanted hats, but to each is his own. When they were done buying, they left the AH with a few sacks full of goods. Quipp tied them to one of her antlers and perched on her other. Out of the corner of her eye, Moose spotted a small fae hopping after them. She noticed he was struggling to keep up, so she wrapped her tail around him and placed him on her back.

Once they were back at the Tribe, they offloaded the goods. Quipp turned around to make sure that there was nothing missed, only to spot a pair of bright blue eyes. Quipp stared in disbelief at the smaller dragon, his mother would certainly give him an earful. He quickly lead Moose to a brook, where the gaoler carefully placed the hatchling on a soft patch of grass. Quipp motioned for her to come closer, while keeping an eye on the little fae.

“Moose, why is there a hatchling.” He knew that she didn’t talk much, but she still was somewhat expressive. She only shrugged.

“Journey.”

“What?”

“It’s his name.”

“I’ll be in deep trouble if she finds out!”

Moose plodded over to Journey and gestured to him with one of her wings. “Keep.”

Quipp sighed, he knew there was no use arguing with her. He plopped down on the grass and stared up at the sky. “So, Journey is your name?”

“Mhm.”

“Moose didn’t drag you here against your will did she?”

The gaoler snorted in response and glared at Quipp, which earned a chuckle from Journey.

“Nope!~ I just wanted to follow.”

“Alrighty then. Now I just have to explain that to my mom...who may rip my frills off for this.”

“I don’t think she will.” Journey replied, sighing blissfully as the cool breeze blew across his frills. Quipp glanced over to see Journey mimicking his pose, causing a small smile to form on his face. “I suppose having a little brother might not be so bad.” Journey met Quipp’s smile with one of his own. “I’d like that.”
