Position: Coliseum
Assigned: All Venues Direct superior: None, independant Direct subordinates: None Present Swirly is a Wildclaw with both Nature and Plague powers, a fact that has affected his eyes as well. Many dragons of those elements are unsettled by his presence, but he's long since grown used to that. He's an excellent fighter, and carries a wizards staff, even though he can't wield ceremonial magic. He argues that most dragons looking for a fight won't pick on a dragon carrying a staff, and most creatures stay down after you whack them with it a few times. Past Swirly was a normal Nature Wildclaw hatchling. He didn't have any powerful Nature magic, but that was quite alright, he was a good physical fighter. Mage, Druid or Warrior, the Gladekeeper wasn't picky about that. That was his destiny; the ultimate honor for both him and his siblings. Finally, the much anticipated day came. Swirly bloomed into a rose, and a trainer took him and his sister to the Mire. Most roses enter the Mire to train; the deadland neither belonging to Plague nor Nature was the perfect time to impress how they would be "fighting the good fight" and "you wouldn't want to see these mushrooms over there take over, would ya?" (Little did the young roses know that a few yards away, the young mushrooms were told exactly the same things by their trainers.) Swirly knew, broadly, how it was supposed to go. It did not involve him falling down, screaming in pain. His eyes quickly changed color: from green to red, then back to green, then back again. Rot grew on his skin, feeding on fast-growing flowers trying to combat this assault. His sister rushed forward to help him, but was held back by their trainer. A team of Plaguelings trotted over, but they knew to keep her distance. They knew sickness when they saw it. Neither knew the cause: Swirly had two equally powerful elements: Nature and Plague. That's bound to cause problems. Disease and growth fought over the young dragon's body. Swirly won. His sister let out a small scream when Swirly stopped moving. But oh, he was far from death. The plants and mushrooms still bloomed and died on his skin, but it wasn't a battle anymore. It was symbiosis. Crustose. Shaking slightly, Swirly stood up and slowly opened his eyes. They were green, yes. But also red. Like him. |

I love Swirly's blue and orange colour palette, the two compliment eachother very well. I feel like your choice of accent was perfect, it really helped tie the whole look together by bringing the orange colour from his wings down into that blue primary. The haunting apparel works very well too and helps add some more 'drama'
