O T H E R
[ uh • thr ]

role › eccentric.
pronouns › he/they.
mate › telluris.
children › áine.

Other is a strange one.

Their movements are fidgeting and jarring — however, they move much slower than other Spirals do. While still erratic, they have to move with purpose and intense concentration to avoid injury. Full-body twitches make them liable to bump into things mid-flight, so they tend to avoid traveling far distances. While their condition doesn’t cause them physical pain, they do prefer to have their expansive lair lined with plush pillows and soft bits of bedding.

Other is an avid collector of sea glass, etched tiles, and geodes. He has very particular tastes, and most of his favorite kinds are from far-away lands and rival flight territories. His mate, Telluris, often travels halfway across Sornieth to gather such treasures for him. He guards his hoard closely and waits, ever-patiently, for Telluris to rejoin him.

They are compassionate, steadfast, and attentive to their small circle of loved ones. Other will extend similar kindnesses to strangers and travelers that stray too far into the Outlands; the weather is harsh, and they would be remiss not to invite friendly stragglers in to warm their flight-feathers. They also love any opportunity to show off their hoard, of course.
