Camaelle

Camaelle is a female Pearlcatcher. Her mate is Rayan.

Camaelle is a quiet, peaceful dragon. She spends her time growing a harvesting the few wild plants that grow in the Southern ice fields.

Camaelle was born in the tangled woods, where she picked up a love for harvesting wild edibles. At a later age than most, she moved in search of a new clan and decided to journey south where none of her clan had gone before.

Camaelle shares a burrow with her mate, Rayan. The burrow has lots of trinkets along with drying herbs hanging on the walls. Camaelle is home in her burrow and throughout the lair most of the time, as she doesn't need to collect herbs more than once every couple days.

She is the exact opposite of her mate, Rayan. He is social, haughty and popular, while Camaelle would rather keep to herself. Despite these differences, the couple get along perfectly fine.

Camaelle will sometimes hang out with the other female pearlcatcher, but she can always be found with her familiar even if it she is just walking through the clan's lair.

Her familiar, a myosotis fox, is playful and enjoys tasting all the edibles along their joirneys.

Camaelle is ranked third within the clan, because her mate is the trader of the clan. So she and her mate get special privileges. They also get a say in matters others with lower ranks would otherwise miss out on.

Camaelle wears silks to show her power within the clan. Rayan had given them to her after a particularly lengthy trading trip with a clan in star fall isles. She also wears a pouch wear she keeps all the herbs she collects. She and Rayan also wears a matching lapis lazuli pendant. Camaelle only takes off her skills and her pouch for bathing and sleeping, but neither of them either take off their pendants.

From the outside Camaelle may seem lonely and in need of a buddy, but she is quite content with how her life in the clan is.
