Miel

Miel's calling in the clan is to manage bee hives kept at the edge of the clifftop garden. He loves his job, and his passion is contagious; even hatchlings in the clan are without a fear of bees due to hearing Miel gush about his hives. The Veilspun's colonies typically collect (and spread) pollen within the garden, but occasionally wander to nearby areas, helping to bring more genetic diversity to the clan's plants. Their work- and by extension, Miel's- is essential to maintaining the health of the garden, particularly the central fruit tree. The honey they produce is a welcome bonus as well.

In addition to his bees, Miel also loves all sorts of adornments he can wear. While his honey is supplied freely to the clan, he retains some extra that he trades others for any art he can wear, however temporary. From necklaces and rings to cloaks and crowns, the Veilspun has a full closet (which is funny because ancient breeds can't wear clothes) that he has traded for. He also trades to dragons who can apply make up/facepaint/body paint or style his mane, taking great enjoyment in trying out new looks. He has had braids from Velour, body and face paint from Porcelain, and even a temporary firefly entourage from Cecilia.
