B I O G R A P H Y

The noises came in the middle of the night. He perked his head up and saw that his clan was in shambles. Everyone was screaming, and everyone was running away for their life. He had no idea what was going on, and he saw that his friend, Velvet, was missing. Worry started to flow into his mind. Is she dead? Please don't tell me she's dead. He thought. He got up to try and find his clan leader, Jose. But he also wanted to run away and forget what was happening... whatever it was.

"Jose? Jose, where are you?" He asked the screaming air.
"He's dead!" Larkith the bogsneak said.
"What?" Dimitri asked, at least pleased to see someone alive.
"Jose is dead, man! Like all of the other dragons here! It was those nasty plague dragons!" Larkith said. Dimitri's spirits and hopes for finding the leader fell apart.
"Jose is dead?" Dimitri repeats.
"Yes, he is! I saw it with my own eyes! There's no hope left that this clan will get saved. So you might as well r-" A wildclaw tackled him to the ground. The wildclaw stuck his claw into his stomach and Dimitri ran away.

He should'be helped his dying buddy. But he didn't. He just ran away from his screams of help. It made him feel guilty, so he ran back, but already saw that Larkith was dead. Dimitri screamed at the wildclaw and tackled him to the ground. The wrestled around for a little bit until the wildclaw stuck his claw through Dimitri's leg. Dimitri screamed in pain and killed the wildclaw. He got up and started to sob over Larkith's body.
"Dimitri!" He heard a voice and saw Velvet run to his side.
"Velvet, you're alive?" He asked in shock.
"Yeah, man. It's best we don't stay here and have a chat. We should run away now!" Velvet said.
"Of course! Let's go!" Dimitri yelled, running by Velvet's side while limping. They left the clan behind. They could've helped it, but it was already too late. Everyone else was dead, and they are the survivors. They are the refugees.
