Her hands shook uncertainly as she held out the tiny vial. She found it hard to swallow, as if something was stuck in her throat. A trickle of sweat fell from her cheek, landing on the ground far below, too far to hear.

"I am certain of this," she said. "I trust you."

Nairobi sat on her pointed claw, looking between her and the vial hesitantly, growing more worried with each glance. It didn't escape her how Pomme's hands trembled ever so slightly, how her eyes seemingly couldn't find a place to land on. Like they just couldn't sit still, or the doubt inside of them would take over.

"Are you... really? You're certain?" Nairobi asked her. She laid her claws on the vial and glanced back up at the dragon holding it. Giving her one last chance to back out.

There was a long moment of hesitance, nothing but the chattering of dragons outside to fill the silence between them.

"Yes."
