Muse

A clan is vulnerable at all times, not just when the daylight shines and the masses are awake. It is Muse who has become one of the most valuable night guards, keeping careful vigil under the starlight over her sleeping friends and family. A defender lit by the sparkling stars.

Muse is easy to talk to. She's gentle and nurturing and very easy to love. She's also the best person in the clan to go to for gossip. Somehow she always knows what is happening with absolutely everyone around her. The little hatchlings love to come to her in the evenings, as they're feeling heavy and drowsy, and she's only just beginning her day. She tells them the most wonderful fables and sings the songs of the stars to them in the coatl-tongue that the clan uses to sing to the Windsinger. She teaches them the skies, so they'll never be lost so long as there are stars.

Out of all her clan-mates, Gienah is the dragon she considers herself closest to. She considers the other dragon to be her platonic other half, a piece of her own soul. She's always been rather terrible at making her own nests, and Gienah's are always so comfortable, that when the clan first moves places instead of building up her own nest she usually spends the first several days sharing the nest of her best friend, much to Gienah's simultaneous delight and frustration, as apparently Muse tends to sleep-preen.

Muse's natural tone falls in the mezzo soprano range, and has a silky quality.
