- Biography


Prince Embermere was eager to set out to the Red Fields upon learning its Queen had yet to find a suitor.

In truth, he cared little for the Hows and Whys regarding the kingdom itself. He had heard bits and pieces about the plague that ravaged it, and certainly heard of Requiem's uprising in its ashes, but honestly,

any place would do.

He was desperate to escape his own clan; his cruel parents and vicious siblings. He'd survived so long shielded by a false front of cutting jokes and bratty behaviour, but he was withering by the day.
He was third in line for the throne - up from fifth, with his elder siblings meeting "unfortunate accidents" one by one.

He would not have returned even if Requiem had refused him, but something simply clicked when their eyes met. There was an attraction, certainly, and an earnest curiosity as well.

Over time - somehow, miraculously - a genuine love grew between the two, even though they still bicker from time to time.

He is, in fact, still kind of a brat.
