Uh-oh, looks like this little green bean wandered a little too far from her home lair (301951, Rainbowlight), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return him/her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful! Owners I've Had: (Rainbowlight, Light) thealmightysei Conwise MoonlilyluvsCas When one day one of Melody's parents (& more clan members) mysteriously fell under a deep sleep, she decided to go beyond the clan in the dead of night and look for a cure. .. Even though she was very little. She knows that maybe there's a big possibility she won't be successful but she has to at least try! Melody is a little (or very) nervous but she's eager for her new adventure, however sad the reasons might be. She's optimistic about being able to make new friends to where she goes! Her pet snake keeps her safe from super dangerous situations & makes others think twice about messing with them!

[Storm773, Lightning]

The first lair Melody arrived in was not particularly far away, located in the Lightning territory. She stumbled across the lair of the Enigmatic Affliction, hoping they may have an answer to her problem. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like there were any medics experienced with the odd ailment that seemed to have taken her clan. They did point her to a direction of another lair that they believed may have a little more information.

Her travels took her to a far land, of rock and bone. Uncertainty and worry filled her, but she trekked onward, stumbling upon a Skydancer far larger than he should be. Along with him were two companions— Imperials— of intimidating stature. The first seemed aggressive, yet uninterested in Melody, growling about colour under her breath as she stalked away. The second offered her help, and in tandem with the first man, they helped to solve the problem. A potion, created from the herbs of the two, was made. They recommended she continue on with her search for answers, knowing that they could never properly diagnose a problem with only the description from a young girl. The second Imperial softly nudged her away, gently whispering to go before their other companion returned.

As she wandered away, she realized she had never learned their names. Yet, something told her she should forget the faces she saw. There are some things that are never meant to be shared.

[Conwise, Plague]

This place was not a pleasant one. Filled with rot and decay, even the air had a sickly smell. It was not the kind of place one comes to willingly, and even less so the kind of place where one wants to stay. Both were true for Melody in this case; she had become lost and desperately wanted to leave. But even among decay, life persists. She stumbled upon a clan living, even thriving somehow, in these wastes. They welcomed her with slight suspicion, but kindness as well. This was a place for lost souls and she was one of them. Upon explaining her quest, the dragons directed her to the scientist of the group. Though she was kind and tried her best to help, something about her was not all there and Melody's problem laid outside her areas of expertise. She stayed with the clan for a few days, receiving food, shelter, and, at the end of her stay, directions out of this land.
