Personification of a writer's pain.
There was a verse
That I was gonna write
I haven't yet
But there's still a chance I might
An open book
That I still wanna close
I'll find the time
Someday I suppose...
The more I sort it out
The more things gets distorted
I sort of think I'm better off just leaving it unsorted
The more I try to change its course
The more off course it goes
Of course I'll reach my destination,
Someday I suppose

"I want to go on an epic dragon journey, even if it's travelling in figure 8's! ...But I don't feel like walking today."
Sigh. Still, she tries.
"If I go, I will have so many epic adventures to write about! I just need to get up and DO IT."
And so, she gets up.
"...But man, I just... I don't feel like it."
Ugh. Slowly, she gets depressed about it all.
"Perhaps I'll just think of something and get inspired first."
So she takes a piece of paper and writes down some notes, inspired by things she heard from others. Yes, that'll work... She might even add a character here and there, someone non-existing but a product of her imagination. After all, she is the writer here...
But soon, the story gets stuck. The OC gets stuck. The whole thought process gets stuck.
Frustration rises. Time for a break, obviously.
She gets up once again.
"Perhaps I should go for a walk."
Instead, she goes to cool down in a stream. Ideas come rushing to her. It was so simple! Right there in front of her!
But by the time she's back, it's all mellowed out. The great idea movement doesn't seem so great anymore, and the plots are nothing new.
Sigh.
"...I really want an epic journey of my own..."
