BEDOCH, CLAN LEADER

"Our time has come."

The slight blue dragon stood. Her atrophied legs trembled slightly beneath her, a black Pearlcatcher spreading a wing to support her. She took it, standing taller.

"The time to leave the sea has come. The Tidecaller is silent, and we have fallen out of his favor," she murmured. Cries of disbelief came from around her, her clanmates shaking their heads. "These are times of change. There is no need to fear change, my dears."

The dragon returned to all fours, and made a motion to leave their lair. The grotto clamored, dragons debating, hatchlings yelling for attention. The echos of disbelief didn't slow her down.

"Satchelman, shall we?" Bedoch asked, tone more inquiring than commanding. The black Pearlcatcher was behind her immediately, nodding.
