Biography
List of Baldwin items to hoard for the NOTN
Found her in a cardboard box in the trash that said "Free". Every single one of her eyes moved in different directions, independently. With her little tongue out, the sight of the adult Pearlcatcher staring at everything like a hatchling full of wonder and curiosity, was quite... terrifying.
So, of course I took her home.
She's a mess, unsettling to look at, no matter how many of her starry eyes you try to avoid. She'll spend her time rolling around with the hatchlings, turning the lair upside down hunting and chasing after insects that wander in. As much of a hassle it can be to clean after her or handle her hyperactive tendencies, most of the clan has come to love her dearly. It's almost like having an unruly puppy that you can't hope to train.
She blinks every single eye separately, and they also seem to move independently. This include her first eyes, I mean, the ones on her face... the ones on the usual eye placement for a Pearlcatcher. Although I have a theory those are not her main eyes... the main pair seems to be the ones just behind those. The big, round ones... hidden under her flower crown.
Sometimes she'll lick them instead of blinking too, I'm not exactly sure of the process that happens inside her head to make that decision. She might as well have her behavior set to random from birth. Since she likes to speak in a way that others can only hope to understand, we might never know.

Thanks to Chãos (ChaosSama) for this wonderful gal (I still don't remember if she was a present or if I paid for her)
Thanks to Peko (Pekora) for the delicious eye-licking idea
