Even her blood flowed with the poise and grace of the Waltz. Psyche was born of nobility and radiance, her birth a wondrous tale of overflowing grace and poise. Her egg cracked slowly, the sound of it almost lyrical. The jagged cracks appeared in slow, elaborate patterns. Then, in a flurry of beautiful wings and a soft sigh, the little Dragon was born, beak high. As if she already knew the treasure within herself. Right away her mother recognized the dance that burned in Psyche's heart, and began to teach her. It was hardly necessary though. The young female picked up the steps as if she had already known. As if she had only slightly forgotten. It was a glorious mystery, and oh-so heart achingly beautiful to watch. Her personality mirrored her dance. Psyche speaks with fluid grace, polite and always soft spoken. Her softness should not be mistaken for weakness however, as Psyche could easily stand her ground in most any disagreement, and may the gods help you if you happen to cross her. Upon her crossing the horizon of maturity, Psyche met Eros. The male came barreling into her life one night at a ballroom dance. |

There she was, the jewel of the ball, taking turns with each male who seemed to line up to spin her around the floor. Even though she out-shined them all. Not once in her life had Psyche asked a male to dance. She never found one who made her heart flutter, made her feel like maybe they could shine with her, and not dim beneath her. There came a thunderous boom and suddenly Psyche was on the floor. The first time she had ever fallen during a dance. Looking up, she was paralyzed by humiliation and something else... A handsome Dragon stared down at her, his face a mirror of her humiliation. "I am so sorry." His deep voice rumbled at last. Psyche said nothing. Struck with so many emotions she could say nothing at all. He helped her to her feet, the whole time apologizing, pleading for her to say something. Anything at all. She turned her beautiful head in his direction, looking proud into his handsome face. "Would you like to dance?"
