PALLAN - Summoner

One of the perks of being raised in a clan that effectively doubles as a Light monastery is the wealth of knowledge one can find if only they stray where they're warned not to. Never one for the rules, Pallan did a great deal of trespassing in his youth, slipping down forbidden corridors and squeezing behind closed doors. The rewards were sometimes simply a face full of cobwebs, or the occasional spider, but when he found rewards instead?

Oh, they were mighty.

And how small-minded to keep those secrets hidden away. Resentment bubbles in his chest, hot enough to scorch the leather of his grimoire whenever he clutches it tight. Had he followed the rules, he would not be the summoner he is today. He would be powerless, overlooked.

Now, though, perhaps he will be feared, and would that not be satisfying to bring that fear to his childhood home one day? Show them that monsters are born not from knowledge, but from secrets?

First, though, he must summon greater spirits. Stronger ones, ones that bleed malice and terror as they stack their bones into the shape of something wrong. Yes, such a creature must come first. And he is so very close...
