This WAS a Traveling Dragon.. But now they are a perma to my lair

Uh-oh, looks like this little thief wandered a little too far from his home lair (#149136, Lirillith), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the Rest Hub!

Bio

From the moment he hatched out of his egg, little Dusty was destined to be a great thief. The only son of Aqua Dusty was taught early one how to pickpocket, lie and most impotently of all, how to drink tea from a tea cup without sticking out his pinky. Dusty is being sent around the world to test his skills and bring greatness to the Water Clan.

When Dusty left the Water Clan, the fae found himself flying over Shifting Expanse and came to a castle which looked more like a museum. A little to the north was another castle but much bigger and taller, but even the small one was huge. Dusty landed on the balcony of the smaller castle and saw a statue of a spiral next to one of the towers. in front of the statue was a golden standard. Being that there was nobody around and the thief he was, the fae decided to help himself to the golden standard. As Dusty approached the golden standard, the statue began to shake and crack. Suddenly lightning struck the statue and it came to life. The imperial looked at Dusty "Little fae" the spiral said "What is your bussiness here?"

Dusty was a little nervious, but said he was a traveler and was just looking around. "You will have to check in at the Lightning Flight Embassy" the spiral ordered. The Lightning Flight Embassy was an arc shape building with a lightning rod on top. it was just to the north east of the castle. As Dusty made his way to the Lightning Flight Embassy, there was a nocturne as the desk. "So what have we here?" said the nocturne "A young fae. I suppose you are a traveler." Dusty showed his passport showing he was a Dragons off to see the world dragon and the nocturne gave him a standard of key to his suite although Dusty probably did not need a key being the master he was at picking pockets. "When you are older you will get a standard if you are still her." The nocturne told the fae as he made his way to his suite.

In the Lightning Flight Embassy, Dusty met with many other travelers. On his way to his room, there was a young spiral who was trying to slither her way into her suite. "Why don't you try using your key?" Dusty suggested "The spiral turned her attention to the fae in annoyance "My key is locked in the room." the spiral retorted. "Perhaps I can help" Dusty suggested. Then the fae used his small claws and stuck it into the key hole moved it around a few times and click the door was open. "How can I ever thank?" said the spiral. "I have been here all night long and now I am glad I can go inside and get some rest. My name is Singe" said the spiral. "And I am Dusty" said the fae. "Dusty" repeated the spiral. "Thankyou for opening my door." the spiral said and in she went.

After the adventures in the lightning flight, Dusty had made many great aquiries or treasure and valuables, and set off for his next destination, he came across the Scarred Wasteland. There's definetly nothing that he could find here besides disease, he thought, but as he saw Shadow's borders coming into view an interesting cave. He decided to check it out, feeling drawn to it and lighting down at the entrance. Entering, he was met with glowing lights and two statues in front of a carved door. Runes lit up and as it opened he went inside, now intruiged and running through past the nerve wracking statues, their eyes following him. The next cave was dark and large, the sounds of sleeping dragons emenating from many doors. He stuck to the wall, finding an alcove stuffed with supplies and began digging through them, pocketting a few things before he heard a throat clear behind him.
As he turned, he saw multiple eyes flicking around his appearance, and large spines visible on the monstrous dragon. An ancient dragon, a banescale. His alarm system skyrocketed but he couldn't slip past the massive form, and here he thought his adventure would end. Instead, the Banescale spoke in a lilting and soft voice, surprising him. "Were you in need of supplies you can take as much as you need. We know the Boneyard is tortorous," she said, stepping aside a little. "You can stay for the night if you'd like, there's alcoves with cushions for travelers over there," she pointed to an empty one with her sharp tail. Dusty simply nodded, before finding his voice. "I.. uh, thank you. For not being mad," and the Banescale simply nodded. "Enjoy your rest, I assume we won't see you in the morning," she responded. "Yea, I need to keep moving. Uhm," he paused as she turned away, eyes still on the massive spines, "What's your name?" he asked. "Gloomwolf," she said, a few of the eyes pointed towards him, blinking. "I'm Dusty. Maybe I'll see you again." And with that, the Banescale seemed to ripple into the night, while he laid on the cushion he went to to rest before his departure before daybreak.

Dusty wandered for some time, finally hitching a ride on an unsuspecting Ridgeback to see where he'd end up. The answer was Lanternlea Port; a busy, bustling place, with plenty of dragons passing through on their way to somewhere else. A thief's paradise.

Dusty made himself right at home. Swiping from one dragon's bags, passing the goods off to another merchant as salvage, scavenge, or as loot from a monster; he had more than enough money to pay for luxury lodgings at the Helianthus Haven by sundown on his first day in town. The second day netted him a gene scroll (Python markings! Maybe not his dream pattern, but the price was right) and even more coin.

But he might have been a little too successful. The third morning, the innkeeper warned him of a thief preying on travelers.

He didn't make himself scarce immediately, or drop his thefts entirely; that would have been suspicious in its own right. But he did stop being quite so brazen, and he did start making plans to depart. This would be a nice place to return to - he'd gotten very fond of his nest here - but he'd have to find someplace else to do his thieving.

As Dusty was scurrying across the plaguelands, stealing away various bits and bobs, not really feeling much of anything. He was tired, and his wings were burnt by the fumes. He put his tiny head to rest in a local inn, trying his best not to think of anything.

But he was rudely awoken by a clang on his window, and loud shattering sound. A pale nocturne had fallen though his window, bloodied on the ground.

"God, are you okay? What are you doing here?"
"Yeah, I, uh, something went wrong." He mumbled, clutching a bloodied sack of gold and coughing.
"Are you a thief?" He paused. "I am too, don't worry that big ol' head."
"Yeah." He laughed and clutched his site.
"Come here, my mom taught me some first aid. Let me see."
He let her take a look at his wounds, and she seemed to know exactly what to do.
"I need to stitch these up, let me get some antiseptic and some thread. Hold still, this won't be pleasant."
He ran off, and he felt a needle going in his wing. He gasped, but he had to grit his teeth and bear it, because he knew it would end sooner or later.
"How's that feel?" He asked.
"Not so bad. I think I'll live."
"Yeah, I'm sure of it.

The two of them slept peacefully, before leaving in the morning, together.
