Perma dragon: Aurumn - The Oracle  They/Them ♦ Theme Song: TBA     An intimidating being with the ability to wield the power of the stars, who has decided to use their gifts to aid mortals in their journeys. Aurumn spends most of the days resting in their temple, located in the middle of a crystaline lake. Whenever someone needs their services, they glide over the lake so gracefully that not even a single disturbance can be seen on the water's surface. Aurumn's wings are so huge that whenever they're open, it feels as if the sky is engulfed in darkness, minimized only by the twinkling stars and constellations on her feathers that pulse as if they were alive. Her eyes remain closed most of the time, except for when she's using her powers. It is said that staring directly at them can reveal all secrets of the universe, at the great cost of driving one insane. Most people are terrified of looking at her face, and will look elsewhere while in her presence. Aurumn's voice is calm and otherworldly. She can morph her body into incomprehensible shapes that - as she says - mimic other dimensions. She doesn't seem to have emotions, but sometimes it is possible to detect a hint of amusement or satisfaction whenever she sees her prophecies become true. ■ The gold filigree hanging from their wings? They spun it themselves with parts of the cosmo to add to their mystery. If any non-ethereal dragon touches it, they would see flashes of the future without the need to look into Aurumn's eyes. ■ Each feather that they have holds a cherished memory, both happy and sad. ■ Sometimes they might give those seeking adventure and advice a push to go out and be fearless just to watch dragons become more of themselves and blossom. |
