Biography
There wasn't many memories from beforehand.
A whisper of a voice, once familiar, the smile of an old friend flickered in the sister's minds. Nothing more.
Nothing, apart from the incident.
They were sick. They stumbled through the festering scar that was the Plague domain, fever pounding at their then singular brain, weakness in their bones. They were going to die.
It was all a dehydrated blur, until they found a lake. Too thirsty to take a second glance, they plunged their head in and drank with feverish enthusiasm.
They don't remember falling asleep, either. Yet when they awoke they were two.
Sun was the figurehead. She guided their new, resilient body through the domain. She was wary, yet a fierce force to mess with. She was the side that did the talking, moreso the only one who could.
Sette, you see, was not fully there. She spent her days looking up at the sky, daydreaming, letting her sister have full use of the body. She didn't talk, only responded through gestures if you managed to get her attention. It was like whatever sickness had overcome the two, it had taken a bit of Sette away with it.
They were fine living alone, wandering and eating and sleeping. Their beautiful, vibrant colours occasionally attracted unwanted attention, however. A prime example was when a giant orb, filled with outsiders and flame, descended upon them. Which had just happened.

"I-I- oh, by the Windsinger, did I kill them?!" The giant guardian paced around withing the hot air balloon, chewing on the tip of his tail like he did when nervous.
"Thankfully nothing fatal, but you're still a bloody idiot, Hammond. Hitting someone with a the basket of our balloon?! This is why we don't start fights up in the air." Their companion said, finishing checking the dragons pulse and tying her beautiful, starry mane up behind her head.
"It was you who called me a bad driver, Axolotl!"
"Yes, and you went and proved my point. Here, help me move the balloon off her."
The Guardian's strength was enough to pull the rest of the fabric off the mystery dragon. Much to their shock, however, They had...
"..Two heads." Axolotl muttered beneath her breath. "Two tails, too. What... is this?"
"You think it's an emperor?!" Hammond replied, fans widening in fear.
Before an answer could be given, a fluttering could be heard behind them. Pounamu, the fae ringmaster, perched upon the Guardian's horn. Axolotl sighed, turning to her. "Slept through a crash, did we? I mean, the whole of Sornieth could be uprooted and you'd still be snoring away." She joked, but her usually playful boss didn't respond. At least, not at first.
"Axolotl, Hammond-" She muttered- "I think that is, or was, my mother."
