A surley, hot-headed and snarly Obelisk working as a hunter of monsters and beastclan. At the begining of his work he was strictly a solo act, something that drove him toward a deep suspicion of those who would hire him. Carver spent several years becoming a cynical if effective hunter.

Then he was hired onto a job with a second hunter - Aiden - who was more than happy to poke and prod at the hedgehog of a dragon until he finally uncurled. The two were soon as thick as thieves, mostly because Aiden refused to be put off by yelling and snarling.

Later the two were almost forcefully adopted by Folka. During a near fatal tundra hunt Carver and Aiden were defended by the Gaoler. Despite their being grown, Folka immediately decided that the two were her younger brothers now. Much to Carver's annoyance, he had no say in this.

Carver, Folka and Aiden are nearly inseperable to this day.
