______ Born with a primal connection to nature, Yggdrasil takes to the coliseum to do battle with the many monsters in the Viridian Labyrinth. She has no interest in Exalting, as the idea of leaving her clan isn't appealing to her, but Yggdrasil is determined to help those who do. She is one of the more experienced fighters of the Thornspeakers, and more than willing to show those dragons who wish to Exalt the ropes alongside Fulgurite. Yggdrasil has a fondness for bonsai trees, and maintains several of her own inside her den. She also enjoys making various floral arrangements with dried or fresh flowers. It’s not an uncommon sight to see garlands of dried flowers decorating the clan’s lair as well as the tree Yggdrasil calls her den.

______ There was one time she was coerced into providing free floral arrangements for a banquet hosted by the leader of a clan notorious for raiding territories belonging to other Flights, who was holding her pearl hostage for the event. And provide flowers she did - nice arrangements of hollyhock, yellow carnation, geranium, majoram, and snapdragon.

______ In the language of flowers, the message was loud and clear: you’re an idiot, your plans are stupid, I’m laughing at you and you have no idea.

______ That clan leader doesn’t know the language of flowers. She was insulting him in a language he could not read, and it provided a glorious backdrop indeed to his flowery speeches of glory and conquest and promises of bringing earth flight territory under the control of the nature flight. Those of the guests who did know the language found it utterly hilarious and had no intention of bringing his attention to it. The vainglorious clan leader was hardly liked outside of his own clan, and when his mission to conquer the territory around Highland Sanctum of Dragonhome failed, well, it was all the gossips could talk about for months after. He was pretty ticked about the deception, but it wasn’t like he could do anything about it then. The damage was done, and Yggdrasil got the last laugh.
