Betrayal

Betrayal. Such a funny little word. She never thought she'd feel it come back to her in such full force after leaving her old clan, but it did. It sought her out like an old friend and stabbed her in the back a thousand times in the middle of the night.

Well! If that's how it's going to be, she'd fight fire with fire.

In her dreams, she met them. Two charming tundras who walked between planes of existence in hopes of finding refuge. They sought her out, specifically, to deliver a message to the clan that tried to rehome her. With glee in her veins and a sense of primal excitement, Bea wrote down all she could remember when she woke - a message to the leaders of the clan, as well as that stupid red-faced jester who kept encouraging her all the while. This would serve them well, she mused; it's what they deserved for humiliating her in the auction house, after all.

Upon waking, the Florum clan would find their guest room where the skydancer had fled empty. Only a note with a ceremonial dagger was left behind: From yours truly, THE PROGENITORS.
