Those who've met Kamen have never forgotten him. A Spiral of unknown age from somewhere deep and mysterious in the Tangled Wood, Kamen has the ability to create wild illusions and warp reality to a presumably immeasurable degree. He can make himself appear to be an Emperor towering over all, he can form crystal spires all around him, an army of a million strong Beastclan soldiers marching across the rolling hills that are now physically rolling, and create enormous all-seeing eyes and laughing smiles in a swirling sky of shadows. He can stretch himself, manipulate his form, and even the form of others, making them believe that they are also being stretched and physically altered. Though his illusions are unable to physically harm, they can clearly cause psychological damage.

Thankfully, he is a rather tame soul. Though he doesn't speak in any comprehensible way, he clearly loves to play and give others joy. That's why he's the backbone of the entertainment events in Clan Rosebud, and is a vital member of the Rosetta Circus. He works together with Hanabi and Tucker to create spectacles unlike any other in Dragonhome and beyond, with parades and gymnastics and anything you could imagine. When shows aren't going on, he's a nocturnal creature, and serves as the night watchman while the other dragons of the clan slumber. When there's an intruder, he can create a large cartoony siren in the sky with spinning spotlights and a wailing horn to warn the others. If the intruder is violent and intends to kill ... Kamen does not hold back, and those aggressors subject to his illusions are scarred for life.
