Chadley, with his younger brother Huxley, came to the clan on a mission to meet the then-rare Nocturne that had grown up there to see if either one would be worthy of her affection. Chadley, however, did not quite meet her eye, as he was much too serious and acted as though he was doing a job rather than honestly looking to be with her. Huxley, on the other hand, won her over with his charming and honest behavior. Content with the arrangement, Chadley decided to offer his service to the clan's knights. 
A professional and hardworking individual, Chadley excels on the job and finds himself most comfortable there. As such, he has difficulties forging and maintaining relationships as he spends most of his time on duty, though his brother and closest friends understand how to live with his busybody behavior. He suffers from being extremely self-conscious, and though that helps him maintain his manners and ideology of what a knight should be, he becomes socially awkward whenever put into an unexpected situation and often can't regain his composure for some time after. |

As the cold air from the Southern Icefields settles on the rest of Sornieth, you find yourself seated by the lair's hearth; having just fought with your clan mates for such a comfortable spot. Among the hustle and bustle of so many members in a single place, you hear the faint sounds of... sleigh bells? It's difficult to tell with the chattering hatchlings and no one else seems to take notice. Still, you decide to investigate the matter and leave your cozy spot behind for another to swiftly fill.
Outside the air is heavy with cold. The skies appear almost foggy as snowflakes fall with a consistent pace. The sound of sleigh bells are much louder from here, prompting you to look about in confusion.
Finally, among the constant snowfall, you see a dragon come into view. A green Coatl makes his way up to you, and while he has a professional air about him, you have a hard time swallowing his, dare you say, dorky costume. The sleigh bells are girded around his waist, and the sweater he wears is tacky, to put it nicely. And atop his head, he wears something akin to an elf's hat.
"Well met," he greets in a kind, though somewhat stiff voice. "I hope I have found you well on this winter's day. My name is Chadley, and I'm here on behalf of clan Windor," his professionalism slowly drops as he speaks, as it becomes more apparent that you're too distracted by his apparel to fully take in what he's saying. Chadley begins to shuffle uncomfortably. "Yes, well.... the clan leaders asked me to dress more festive for the job, so..." After an awkward pause, he shakes his head to himself and withdraws a scroll from his satchel before passing it to you. "I was asked to deliver this to your clan."
You turn the scroll over in your hand as the Coatl watches.
"It's a drawing," he answers. "Elvira, an aspiring artist within our clan, drew it in likeness of one of your clan mates. She told me that, though it may not be perfect, she hopes you enjoy it nonetheless."
As you take in this gesture, Chadley steps back, giving himself clearance for flight.
"From all of us at Clan Windor, we hope you have a splendid holiday this year."
And with that, he was gone.
