Sunbeam is the only dragon to permanently take up residence in the Hub. He spends his time running a small trading post-type shop, and loves to make trades with dragons coming in and out. He is technically a member of the Sanctum, and is the one who keeps the vault in order. In his free time, Sunbeam helps those in the Hub fully prepare for their trip, and assists his mate Creed in welcoming newcomers.

Valyart is thought to be sapient like other elemental spirits. However, he spends his time doing very little, often perching in one place for hours. He sticks close to Sunbeam most of the time, but occasionally vanishes, nowhere to be seen. Sunbeam is unsure where he goes during these times, but is fond of the bird for its beauty and good behavior.
