Alencon's parents left her and her siblings Cape and Barbary soon after they hatched, leaving them with Saph and Adaryn as their adopted parents. They grew up in quite a large family, with their mothers' affinity for adopting lost whelps, and always felt at home alongside their adopted siblings Ultraviolet, Lumeni, Mentha, Watermint, and Tuscany.

Alencon is the oldest out of her biological siblings and considers herself their caretaker, often thinking herself to be more mature than them even into adulthood. She also bears the most resemblance to their biological mother, Marill, which is a point of pride for her. Alencon is very mature for her age and is caretaker, enjoying being around other dragons. She is the only one out of her siblings who seems to truly miss their blood parents, but she still dearly loves and appreciates her adopted mothers.

Alencon is mates with Silvarian and has a whelp with him named Throdio.
