Eunsoo

"I'm not afraid of death."

A fledgling idealist, Eunsoo had been posted by her (then) parents to the Stormcatcher's domain for a "long" internship in the hopes that she would eventually take on the family mantle of being a paladin. Her father, a disgraced Lightning-borne researcher who'd eventually turned to teaching after a scandal, had high hopes in his only daughter, but growing up sheltered meant that Eunsoo combated a learning curve difficult to surmount.

Eunsoo struggled throughout her term, not only being posted to an eccentric, highly-skilled Fae mage who blew both parts hot and cold to her and her eventual inclusion in a special investigation team involving a string of Shade-touched murders. Eventually, she struck out on her own in the hopes of impressing her senior and subordinate: only to attract the wrong type of attention to herself and murdered in cold blood in her own residence as a display of strength against those who still sought justice.

Even then, Eunsoo did not rest. Her soul strained and yearned for redress, and eventually knitted itself back together into an entirely inrecognisable form, her elemental allegiance becoming now one with the earth which had brought her back. She now travels as a researcher and mage, unable to return to the Stormcatcher's domain in a form that nobody remembered or knew, becoming as lonely as she'd been when she'd first started her own journey.
