Backstory: As a hatchling, Nivur was naive and gullible, ill suited to the Tangled Woods in which he lived. He loves to play games, but he kept getting cheated by his friends. One day, after yet another unfair round of Glimmer & Gloom, he rushed off in tears. He wasn’t watching his steps, so just imagine his surprise when he fell over a cliff right into the Sea Of A Thousand Currents.
He couldn’t fly back then. He landed in a shallow tide pool, twisting his ankle rather badly. He called for help, but none came, although he was sure that he saw his brother poke his head over.
Nivur grew bitter. Tangled in the seaweed, he gnawed on shellfish and drank rain to survive, while stewing in his naivety and helplessness.
Eventually, he decided that he had to leave. His family wasn’t coming for him. He painfully wrenched his ankle from the pool and paddled into the waves, angrily resolving never to see his horrible family again.
He came across a nice Guardian called Hurricane. Hurricane asked him if he wanted to join his clan, since the clan needed more members.
Well, where else could Nivur go? He accepted, and has lived here ever since.
