Dream was originally hailed from Dreamrealm, a place that was quickly off-balance and corrupted with a storm of negativity. At first, Dream wanted to purge it from the inside, befriending the other Dreams but that soon gone to end when he found out one of the Dreams he wasn't able to meet had a tragic end to their former clan. Drom, what he was called at that time, did pack his things up; seeing that he couldn't kill the main leader Nightmare, or bring himself to murder his brother either. Searching for a new place to stay in for his plans to eliminate the world's negativities, he found this small clan called Kuroba. It wasn't on the boarders of Shadow and Light like Dreamrealm was located, rather they were closer to the Tangled Woods than the outskirts of any other adjacent domains. Dream never mined being in the midst of the chaos and negativity as he always says the best way to purge something is to do it from the inside out. Actually locating the clan was difficult since there was only one body in the clan itself before the other dragons got the chance to join in; he found a melancholy dragon who was alone asides a grave that was unnamed. Dream himself was perplexed, seeing that the Guardian wasn't affected by his aura when he approached as the Guardian did acknowledge his appearance. "Whoever you are, leave me be." Was her first words to the Guardian of Positivity. "Don't you wish to be happy, I can get rid of all that sadness within you?" "I am fine, just need some time. You can sit over there and then I can talk about what you want Dream." Never had he said his name to the dragon, rather has he ever seen this dragon before as she knew his name. From that moment forth, Dream stayed in the clan, slowly infecting the nearby clans with positivity as he promised that he wouldn't do that in his own clan.
There will be a day that I will face Dreamrealms once more; that day will come and I will be more powerful than ever.
