There's a knock on the lair door. Ariera shuffles over to see who's responsible for the noise. A strange skydancer is standing at the entrance, accompanied by a large snake. Her feathers are slightly tattered, but her whole being is wrapped in an aura of importance. She's holding a hefty old tome.
oooo"What's your name?" Ariera asks.
oooo"I have many names. Thousands, in fact. However, none of them are my own."
oooo"Excuse me?"
ooooThe skydancer taps the cover of the book.
oooo"I'm keeping a record of every single dragon in Sornieth. Your lair is next in line. Judging by the size of it, might take a while."
oooo"... you're saying you want to hang around and scribble down names?"
oooo"Exactly."
oooo"...to be honest, I could use someone to keep track of who lives here. It's getting a little chaotic, with all these pilgrims and wanderers. Just... try not to get in the way."
ooooThe nameless dragon opens the book she's holding and hovers her fingers above it. She takes a long, inquiring look at Ariera. A drop of red ink slowly forms at the tip of one of her claws.
oooo"Well then. What do they call you?"
