Raised an orphan deep in Plague, Silv was groomed from a young age to join the Boneguard as soon as he was old enough. And that was exactly what he did - however, he realized almost instantly that war wasn't for him. By the time he was barely older than a hatchling, he had already left Plague behind. Despite the fact that his personality simply wasn't suited for war, Silv still remains very gifted in swordplay and battle-magic, and his skill has only continued to grow with age. His magical talent, although not innately prodigious, is very practiced and measured, making him a very consistent and reliable magician. Silv continues to study weaponry and offensive magic, determined that he will always be sure he can protect the home he's finally found.

Grim and terse, Silv is typically a dragon of few words. He spends most of his time practicing, often sitting in on other classes or volunteering to help tutor younger students. He loves working with hatchlings, and does his best to temper his sharper edges. He has many of the same tendencies as other dragons who were raised in Plague - Plague culture tends to be much more blase and to-the-point than Light culture, and Plague dragons raised in the Flight can often come across as uncaring or even rude without meaning to. Fortunately, he possesses a level head and doesn't get frustrated or angry easily, although his introverted nature and the fact that he is a dragon of very few words can make him seem angry or upset when he's perfectly fine. Despite his rather glum and hardened personality and demeanor, he's really quite the softie. He keeps an extensive collection of pressed flowers, and when he's not training, he loves to spend his time reading romance novels in the library. He allows few dragons to get truly close to him, but the other dragons in his Hall are proud to count him among their friends.

Silvinas (also spelled Zilvinas) is a name derived from the old Lithuanian žilvis, meaning 'young' or 'sprout.'
