With a simple color scheme and genes, Muddpuddle would like to remind you to take it easy. Not everything has to be grand. It's okay to chill out and play a little in the mud.

Muddpuddle's clan were mining dragons always seeking more and more crystals and gemstones and treasure. Muddpuddle was left behind by accident during a migration to find a better mining site. It had been raining for days which was so unusual in the plains that the dragons couldn't cope very well with all the water and mud. Muddpuddle, always the quiet one, got stuck in some deep tracks while the clan continued to move on. From then on, Muddpuddle decided she'd never pursue gems to the point of losing sight of what's important.

Requirements
Breed: Any, but works best with snapper, bogsneak, guardian, tundra, mirror, fae, coatl. As long as it looks like a mudpuddle....

I would avoid Imperial, Ridgeback, Pearlcatcher, Spiral, and Wildclaws. No ancients.

Primary Gene: Basic or Slime
Secondary Gene: Sludge
Tertiary Gene: Basic, Underbelly, Capsule, Opal

Primary Colors: Oilslick, Dirt-Auburn
Secondary Colors: Dirt-Auburn
Tertiary Colors: Antique-Smoke

Misc. Notes
There are 2 variations. The original which has an oilslick only primary. And the second a more common dirt-auburn primary range. As for genes, most of the dragons in this subspecies will have a basic, sludge, basic gene combo. Some might have slime and/or underbelly or capsule. Very few will have opal (which fits the possible lore because muddpuddle dragons try to keep it simple....)
If you breed an oilslick primary with a dirt-auburn range primary, you may not get hatchlings that are muddpuddles....
